Installation

To live is to perceive and give significance to our context. This gut level awareness is the basis for installation art. “This is that” can be a profoundly creative statement. Placing something on a pedestal almost shouts, “This is important!”

With this creative power comes responsibility. Somethings can be changed, other things change you. This give-and-take with context is analogous to life, perhaps inseparable from life. Installing art in a given space is primal and therefore can be intuitive, like a dance: playful, focused and surrendering to the world as it is. Everything in it’s place.
